Hey, everyone! This is my first post on my website. I have been periodically updating my personal blog for the past few years, so I'll probably slowly bring posts from there over to here, especially any of my writing prompt exercises, to keep everything in one place. I hope to start updating this more regularly and-- ideally-- with updates on any new writing jobs or publications! I'll also use this space from time to time to give more in-depth looks at previously published works that you can find in my portfolio.

Today has been a decidedly uneventful day. For my East Coast pals, you'll understand: it's January 23rd, also known as the snowiest day we've had all winter long, if not in years. In between sleeping, drinking homemade cocktails and watching trashy TV (hello, Ghost Adventures!) I've been working on this site and various other personal projects. While the idea of laying outside my apartment and making snow angels is surely a tempting one, I figured I'd better buck up and do something vaguely productive. So I think this is what "adulting" is... right?
